Dukane’s Curved Leg Elastic (CLE) technology introduces a breakthrough method for attaching elastic strands with ultrasonic bonding—completely eliminating the need for hotmelt adhesives. This delivers a cleaner, more efficient, and more reliable process for modern nonwoven applications.

Building on Dukane’s patented elastic attachment technology, CLE enables manufacturers to combine curved and straight elastics within a simple two-layer nonwoven panel. This innovation improves product performance, reduces material complexity, and provides greater design flexibility while maintaining consistency and repeatability in high-volume production.

Design Freedom: CLE allows easy adjustment of strand spacing by changing the infeed roll, eliminating spray nozzle limitations. Side seams become more discrete, aesthetics improve, and gathering effects can be tailored.
