We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the Medical Device Industry. Ideally, you are a dynamic individual who is able to discuss complex, technical ideas with engineers and laypersons. You will have a knowledge of plastic assemblies production and an experience working in a sales position within the medical industry. You have a knowledge of medical device manufacturing and requirements.
• Experience in a sales based position related to technical medical products
• Understanding of European medical manufacturing, markets and regulations
• Machine building/Product design/manufacturing experience is strong advantage
• Knowledge of technical plastics or mechanical engineering an advantage
• Dynamic and flexible personality
• Advanced communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal direction
• Must be willing to travel regularly in Europe and occasionally in USA
Responsibilities:
· Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
· Create and present applicational reports for medical customers
· Update and inform team members of market trends and necessary support to grow business
· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
· European travel, as required
· Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
· Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

General Position Description and Purpose:
Accountant will be responsible for assisting Controller with the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Position will be responsible for working directly with the Controller to address questions of a financial and operational nature and to interpret/communicate the results of operating activity on a daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and as-needed basis. Position will be expected to review & become familiar with policies, practices and procedures in an effort to identify continuous improvements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Listed below are typical responsibilities performed in this position. This description should not be construed to contain every responsibility or function that may be required to be performed by the individual in this position as he or she is required to perform other related responsibilities or functions as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Consolidation of global subsidiary monthly activity.
2. Assist with monthly analysis of the company’s performance including, but not limited to, sales volume variances, product family margin, manufacturing variances, variable distribution costs, and fixed expenses.
3. Assist with monthly analysis of accounting reserves.
4. Assist in preparation of annual audit schedules.
5. Perform Point Man monthly closing activities.
6. Provide other schedules/reports to management as needed for areas that provide operational value.
7. Participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance. Expertise with standard Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word. Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with financial reporting responsibilities.
