Ultra-Rigid Ultrasonic Press System Ideal for Tight-Tolerance Applications

Dukane Corporation is introducing their NEW 30/40 ultrasonic precision press system. The system includes the 30/40 actuator mounted on the ultra-rigid support package. The ultra-rigid support package is typically used for larger, heavier actuators like the 15 kHz units Dukane offers. The 30/40's square-welded, steel H-frame style column sets it apart from other systems. This robust column eliminates any deflection, making the machine more repeatable and precise. Ideal applications for this machine include medical devices requiring machine validation or any applications requiring a very tight part tolerance.

Standard accessories include the DPC IV plus generator/power supply, 30 or 40 kHz frequency, Electronic Regulator, Force Load cell, Optical no-touch activation switch, IPC Computer interface and Dukane's exclusive built-in Hydraulic speed control. Matching the part-melt velocity is critical in producing strong weld bonds. The Hydraulic speed control, along with the electronic regulator and force load cell, allows customers the ability to precisely program, control and repeat consistently. These systems can be validated for FDAtype process requirements. The unit pictured has a custom roll cart, which is designed for easy move and storage of the system for press-side assembly operations along with a lockable drawer for spare horns, fixtures and tools. Operator fatigue is significantly reduced through the use of the Optical touch switches.
