Expandable Plug-and-Weld Ultrasonic Generator Configures User Interface

The Plug–and–Weld system in Dukane's new DPC™ II Plus ultrasonic generator recognizes modules as they are added or removed from the generator and automatically reconfigures the user interface. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the setup procedure, and new Hot Keys give you one–step access to frequently used commands. It is the first low cost unit
to offer Time & Energy welding capability, three displays for menu, power and status, and an expandable modular design. Previously, you had to commit to features before purchase, but now you can select a basic configuration that meets your current needs and add more capability later. A dual–pressure weld mode, ground detect, parts counter, process limits
menu and configurable status outputs are all features built in to the DPC II Plus.

The timer module controls weld, hold and afterburst times and stores up to eight setup files. The optional MPC multi–probe control modules handle up to eight probes and a power signal module adds a Weld–by–Energy mode. Digital front panel amplitude control is standard and a remote amplitude adjustment module is available as an option.

The generator's universal power supply automatically switches for operation from 90–130 VAC or 180–260 VAC. The DPC II Plus is available in power ranges from 100W up to 4000W and covers the frequency range from 15kHz to 70kHz. The units are designed and manufactured in the United States, are CE certified and carry a 3-year North America Warranty.
